The region Sterzing and environment is in the best way well-known the Mountainbikern, in particular the Transalpbikern. Pfitscher and Pfunderer yoke, burner border comb route and key yoke are in the scene sounding names. The few know however that in direct proximity of these much driven on routes an extensive area opens itself, which opens the Stubaier, Zillertaler and Sarner alps. On well removed routes through the woods and the old military routes 1. and 2. World war can penetrate one by forests over the Almzonen in the hochalpine area.
