Sight-Seeing and Places of Interest
The Barbara Chapel from the mining-era houses a beautiful, winged alter which is really worth seeing. The parish church and the Ibsenmuseum, with Prof. Ennemoser as curator, are also well worth a visit. Ibsenmuseum
We are the extended living space of Peter Kaiser , the artist, who combines nature with art. An area off the main road to Brenner (waterfall, rockface, steps, and bunkers) was declared a place of art and was given the name “Kunstwerk” (a work of art). Exhibitions and events take place there regularly without the character of the place being affected. Every year one or two artists, literary figures and people of varying interests are invited to give a presentation at the place.
The Monastery in Neustift, Brixen, the old Bishop´s town, Klausen, Monastery Säben, the list goes on and on and don´t forget "Ötzi" the ice man in Bozen.
